Founder,
College Intuition LLC
On a personal
note, I believe in the power of stories to communicate and I'd like
to tell you a little more about my background to share some of my
passion and vision for College Intuition.
While my
degrees in counseling and education were a big part of the foundation
and philosophies behind the startup of my company - my real test
came when both my children needed help applying for college.
Fortunately, after all the essays, road trips, college tours, practice
interviews and late-night arguments, my son Andrew and my daughter
Paige were accepted to their top choices: The University of Pennsylvania
and Emory University, respectively. I was very happy, but I knew
it hadn’t been easy—the application process had become
more complex and demanding than ever.
That’s when I decided to dedicate myself to helping other
parents survive this tedious but, ultimately, gratifying journey.
I attended conferences and workshops across the country to further
my understanding of the latest developments in today’s application
process.
So as both an
educational consultant and a parent, I know the college application
process can be overwhelming. I also understand that with extensive
research and good communication, we can work together to help your
student find the "right match".
